Queens of the Stone Age - Auto PilotThe cool voice of Mark Lanegan matched with great guitars of Josh Homme.

The current line up is awesome but I also miss Nick and his songs that were heavy. Nice touch to the albums. Thing is QotSA isn't traditional like other bands. Josh treats it like The Desert Sessions kinda. People come and go for albums and shows. For a couple years you have one guitarist, then this one, then the drummer changes, keyboards, no keyboards, 2nd vocalist, no vocalist, etc. It's good though. I like it and Queens is in my top 3 bands of all time constantly changing. Sometimes I feel it's #1 but sometimes #3.

Glad Mark layed off the drugs, although it formed the basis of "Bubblegum" after this, probably the best album I've heard

I saw an interview with Troy where he was asked what his least fave part of being in QOTSA was and he mentioned the "down-down" motion that they all had to use in playing their guitars/bass. What makes this so special, I wonder? How ccould it sound that different?
