I love how whenever anyone DARES to express an opinion that anything TSO does is not absolutely great, some jerk comes out of left field and hurls personal insults at the person who dared to express their opinion......

You can enjoy it all you want... My comment is not stopping anyone from enjoying it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on anything, and I expressed my opinion in my comment. This piece is a great piece, however the vocalist performance was so off key it is distracting to MYSELF. Like I said, everyone is entitled to their opinions and that is what comments are for... is it not?

So I'm going to throw in my two cents. Having a classical background, I understand that the aria "Der Holle Rache" is a vocally demanding piece that even most colortouras have a difficult time with it. I mean the high arpeggios are killer. With that said, I feel that for this piece to be performed correctly, they need a vocalist who is able to sing this consistently in tune. I mean the opening vocal line is just a plain disaster... I honestly feel bad for the vocalist.

ok you try straining your voice in this VERY difficult song and post it on youtube then I'll down vote it. go ahead.

Of course. Every tastes are in nature as we say in France. Just wanted to underline the fact that some music mixing classical and rock are sometimes wonderful. Jason Becker (Perpetual Burn), Symphony X, Malmsteen. But I must admit, the few I know about TSO, I'd don't like it the way I love Savatage, And the girl here did not do a fantastic job over the not so well re written aria. I think I'm thinking like you, but only for this song. Not as a general case for all neoclassical and stuff
