The emotion and sadness from Brian, Roger and John is so strong. Imagine how they coped with losing Freddie. Brian was quoted as saying it was a very long grieving process. Except for John they were all best friends since college. It must have been hell. Brian got severely depressed due to several losses but he mentions Freddie along with the death of his dad as a few of the causes for almost committing suicide, then stopping and checking himself into a depression clinic in Arizona.
