I think I like the Album version better, but very interesting to hear this - it is a bit more raw, not quite as polished - I still adore this song, and Freddie's voice was certainly angelic...

No, but they did, strangely, play the intro twice in the 80's: once at Sun City, and another time in Tokyo in '85. It's quite strange.

In the mid 1970's when Glitter Rock bands like Queen were producing wonderous songs like this, I couldn't imagine how any artist could come up with anything better. Music had been getting better & better all of my life up until that point, so I figured that someone would find a way to create something even better. However, the answer is, that in the 40 years since this and other Glitter Rock masterpieces were released, NOTHING has come close to even comparing!
