What a load of noise. I'm not surprised it was never a single in the U.K. The instrumentation is typical Queen, lots of fireworks but in this case no fire. Then I thought "Maybe it's highly rated 'cos of the lyrics, so I listened to the lyrics very carefully. As someone who writes songs as a hobby maybe I'm not the most qualified to critique a Queen song, but as an ordinary connoisseur of good music, I'd say the lyrics are uninspired and uninspiring. They paint a dull picture, there's scarcely any drama except the cacophony that also acts as a chorus. The delivery from Freddie is unconvincing, lacks freshness and zap. And the song is FAR TOO LONG.
