Always amazed me that the same guy whose voice is so rough and gravelly is the same guy the band counted on to hit the really high notes in songs like Bohemian Rhapsody and '39. Roger is a totally underestimated singer by everyone who isn't a) in Queen or b) a Queen fan.9 years ago

Bass is Roger indeed. He also played the additional percussion instruments and sang all the vocals, and he produced and mixed the song, which means it's a 95% Roger thing in all sense of the word, with the only exception of some guitar work Brian added, and which really fits the song.10 years ago

Right. This is turning very much into semantics, so perhaps you should stop. The guitar riff sounds like Roger to me, and the album notes would indicate this. The bass also sounds like Roger. Brian plays some rhythmic stuff (e.g. 1.20)Related Videos
