I wouldn't say Roger made mainly pop songs. His 70's songs were Modern Times Rock n' Roll, The Loser In The End, Tenement Funster, I'm In Love With My Car, Drowse, Sheer Heart Attack, Fight From The Inside, Fun It and More Of That Jazz. Quite rocky. Fun It may have a funky sound, and in the 80's he made slightly "pop-esque" songs like A Kind Of Magic, Radio Gaga and The Invisible Man, but in the band, Freddie was considered the "pop-er". Brian said that Don'tStoMeNow came from Freddie's pop side

The only problem is that the title suggests that the other members are on it too. 25% of Queen is still epic.

@dilwich123 Queen was influenced by all four of its members. However, most of the "harder" songs (e.g Hammer to Fall) can be attributed to May's songwriting prowess, whereas the more eccentric and flamboyant songs (e.g Bohemian Rhapsody and Killer Queen) can be credited to Freddie Mercury. As for the other two members; bassist John Deacon composed Queen's rhythmic hits (Another one Bites the Dust and Under Pressure) and Roger Taylor wrote many of Queen's pop-esque songs.

@HuddsGiant..I'm not fond of commercials at all either, But, if they contain a Queen song, then I'm all for them. Anything to expose Queen & their brilliance to the masses! Anything! There's an ad out now for chips w/ Crazy Little Thing Called Love and I LOVE it! On their site ppl always ask about the song. It gets them curious enough to maybe listen & see Queen as more than just their hits......which is a GOOD thing!! Ppl have preconceived notions to limit them wh is very bad/sad. QUEEN ROCKS!!

@ChipsandCheese92 Who says it was a song written for Queen, in the first place? That being said, I, too, can imagine certain things, bits here and there. F. M. might have sung that song well and maybe it wouldn't have ended up being a commercial for a specific car.

Yes this song kicks ass, Definately one of the top 3 on Brian May's "Resurrection." (and maybe my favorite) But I think the point be made for accuracy in postings. I can't tell you how often I'm looking for a song, and could only find it under a different band's name. The wrong band. For Example: "We're not gonna take it" is NOT Quiet Riot.

@ChipsandCheese92 No, this one had to be sung by Brian. Just his style.
