I rediscovered this album recently. Janet Weiss from Sleater-Kinney is in the band and I saw them open for the late Elliott Smith on his XO tour. Kind of an odd but compelling album featuring a harpsichord.

I have had so few favorite bands throughout the years, maintained only 1 for 3 years, then I found 2 more about 2 years ago, and I'm up to about 3. This year... these guys and 31knots are gunnning for a spot up there with Les Savy Fav, The pAper chAse, and Man Man. I wonder constantly how much amazing music I'm not hearing every second of every day.
