This song does something to me....transporting me back in time to a familiar, happy place.

So, the whole time she didn't mean to lead anyone on, and she rues ever learning to dance. She danced on a midsummer's day, gracefully, and Jack the holy water clerk came upon her and saw how happy she was. They danced in a narrow place and he kissed her.

Alas, alas, the while Thout I on no gile, So have I good chaunce. Alas, alas, the while That ever I coude daunce. Jak, ic wot priyede in my faire face; He thout me full worly, so have I good grace. As we turnden oure daunce in a narwe place, Jak bed me the mouth, a kussinge ther was- Thout I on no gile. Alas, alas, the while Thout I on no gile, So have I good chaunce. Alas, alas, the while That ever I coude daunce.

This song might be. Some of their songs aren't grammatically correct though. This song, as far as I can see, is a variant of Middle English. Old English is very different from this song. Regardless, it is very beautiful :)

Note: as is often the case with songs by Qntal that are not in their native tongue, the grammar and words are not correct. However, that does not exclude this from being a beautiful, tantalizing and worth-while song. Again I stress, however, that this is not to be considered an accurate source.

I found them on Pandora, too, and immediately bought all of their albums because of this song! Does anyone know where to find a translation?
