awesome song but the video wasnt for me...dont get me wrong i support bikers 100%:) my parents ride...but ive experienced enough in the past 22 years to bring me to the conclusion that there is no all powerful god to protect and save us all...we were created by something...the human body is far too complex to have randomly happened over time as science suggests and their theories are full of bs...but i only have faith in myself, family, close friends, and my brothers in arms15 years ago

Erik Schrody (Everlast) wrote the song after a near fatal heart attack. In hospital he reflects on his alcohol and nicotine addiction (the monster under his bed)and believes this has caused his heart attack. A beautiful muslim nurse looks after him (the angel) and tells him he has nothing to fear because Allah is looking down on him. She says "la ilaha il allah" (the lyrics at the end of the song), losely translated means "There is no god but Allah" Everlast is so moved he converts to Islam.16 years ago
