Saw Pure Prairie League open for Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1976 at the Capital Centre near DC. Talk about nearly 5 hours of great, great music. What ever happened to it all?

Yes! Now let's try to convince the rest of the music world. lol Being from the Southwest Ohio area,they didn't get the recognition that the other bands from the early 70's country/rock genre received.

These guys were so much more talented songwriters and so much more exceptional players than Jackson Browne or The Eagles - it's not even funny! One of the BEST songs ever written - They're So Goddamn Good!

I really believe that Pure Prairie Leauge's early music was on par with the other,more commercially successful country-rock artist like Jackson Browne,America,The Eagles,Poco and others.
