I watched this video when I was 11 at first (6th grade). It fucked me up, bad. I mean really, really bad. Afterwards and on random days I'd break out in tears and not know why, I was afraid of ALL music videos at the fear they'd be like this one, and that's only half of it. For the longest time everyone in my house referred to it as "The Song that shall not be named". I heard the song first and loved it, but then I saw the video and... y head couldn't understand any of it. I thought it was about exactly what was happening. A sad song about killing fish and exploding cats. On the one year anniversary I heard it every year, I'd do something to try and forget it further. It's five years later now that I've come back to watch it again, and Gods it's amazing. I can't sum up the video's symbolism to one point or one meaning of my own, but this is genuinely a work of art. My feeling toward the song now probably wouldn't be the way it is if I hadn't seen it when I was younger. I still feel slight uneasy when I watch it, but I've a hold on it to the point where it doesn't bother me.Little rand about myself and my feelings toward the song.
