http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitars/Electric-Guitars/Electric-Guitars/sc1437/p9287.aspx For those of you who are unaware Paul Allender is the guitar player with The Blood Devine and an ex-member of the band Cradle of Filth, both bands play music from the Metal genre and Paul Allender has been playing PRS guitars for several years. He originally launched the PRS SE Paul Allender in 2007 and this latest model features a host of updates and new colour options ...

The Scarlet Red finish on the new model is a new colour option however the body still uses Mahogany with a Flamed Maple veneer on top, this is complimented by a Maple neck that has a delightful Ebony fretboard boasting 24 Jumbo frets with Paul's trademark "Bat" fret inlays for fret orientation.

The fact he only plays it clean for 20 seconds should tell you something. You're buying the guitar, not all the effects used here.

Why do a fucking demo with a wah?

You can play kind of music on any kind of guitars. Just pick the tuning and you will be fine.

this is a great bargain for the price you can push and pull the volume or tone pots for single coil use from the emg's 89/81 its a great versatile instrument. the only downside is it does not have locking tuners so using the tremolo bar can untune prety fast. i have this guitar and prs mikael akerfeldt i like em both if they would be stolen id buy both of em back just personel preference :)

Cradle is British Extreme Metal. There, the "Black metal or not" issue has just been solved.

glad there are still smart people commenting on youtube...99% of YT comments are pure ignorant garbage.

Dunno why people want to hear Cradle being played on a guitar that Paul Allender uses in Cradle, what's the point, we already know it can sound like that. The point of these videos are to show what other styles and whatnot the guitar can be used for.

100% right on. That's the thing with any Strat-style trem. Gotta get the strings settled into the nut and bridge saddles properly and then you can beat the hell out of it and it stays in tune. Proper nut cut and angle is the biggie. Ya gotta have a pro give any guitar some TLC that the factory didn't have time for, and it cures all ails.

I have a 2012 SE Allender and I love it. It really is a steal, as are most SE's imo. It has some of the nicest fretwork I've ever seen on any guitar at any price. If you can get past the bat inlays, it's a great hard rock axe. It's got coil tapping and EMG 81TWb/89n. The trem and tuners are very high quality. Tuning issues can be corrected by using Cobalt strings and watching "How to keep your Strat tremolo in tune, Frudua Way" on YT. Great tips. Get 1st setup done by a pro, especially the nut.

A Prs trem, if set up right can be abused... the SE trems are different than the American made ones though and need more TLC to get right... Heck, a vintage Fender trem when properly set up can be used to the extreme... Blackmore did it all the time

I have this guitar. I changed the tuners to mini grover locking, and lubricated every contact point with a product called tri flow with teflon. Now no matter how hard I try I can not get it to go out of tune, It is the best guitar I have ever seen for under a grand.

99camarosupersport

No, mine barely stays in tune while playing. The tuners are crap but the guitar is awesome
