I prefer the more unhinged sound of the first album, and the old school death/doom vibe of the first demo. But this sounds great! It's more refined, but still pretty lethal.Don't think this band has released anything bad at all.

I think they've improved a lot. Assuming this is generally what the rest of the album is like, it's surprisingly complex stuff in terms of how the song reveals itself over time.
