Strung Out

Not one person in these comments tried to explain the lyrics. Here's my take on them... you simple-minded poser goons... it's about him living with his father at a military base and the only place he felt safe was away from it all... so he road his bike to a backyard drainage ditch but decided to refer to it as a creek so he wouldn't feel so bad about it. Since it was so close to the base he called it devil's creek.

they mean what they say"ska revival isnt cool you stupid fuck" the ska revival of the mid 90's was a fucking terrible bastardized version of real ska.

They play a nice mix, well, in the UK they do anyway. Usually lean to a few more from their latest release but mix it up very well!

I think it's all just alot more matured and they are finally playing what they always wanted to, just didn't have the musical abilitly to do so before. They, possibly, when they were starting out, felt that the pop-punk style was the only way to reach out also. Either way, it's all awesome - I just prefer the last few albums, more to the point and even (less talk) more rock!

If he likes it more then let him be, personally I prefer 'How To Clean Everything' and 'Less Talk, More Rock' over the rest, to me they have a certain charm which has faded away somehow. Point is, there's no objective way to look at music.

I love everything theyve done. I first heard Propagandhi in 96 at age 15 and was very heavily inspired to play music by hearing "How to Clean Everything" and was kicked out of school for a few days once for wearing a shirt from one of their shows that said "Id rather be flag burning" and something about animal friendly, gay positive on the back. Few bands are so important to me that i feel homesick when i hear an old album of theirs. This is one. FTR THIS IS LAURENS BF (NOT GAY, BUT NOT A BIGOT)

you should know that 'ska sucks' is not a serious message. it's not like they mean the lyrics in a literal way
