Yeah I heard that shit, I dug Pantera but when they showed up with their sound everybody ran out and formed their own Pantera and now to this day we have about 1500 too many Panteras running around the globe. And the fans today all say you don't have talent unless you're just that. This generation prefers complex stroke offs and macho-heavy snoozefests to writing a good fuckin song with meaning or depth.

Those were the crossover days. A metalhead wearing a Dag Nasty shirt and a punk wearing Prong shirt. Good times. The best of both worlds. No fear of contamination Maximum Rock N Roll punk purity snobbery and no metalhead derp macho technical dick measuring contests. Then Pantera came along and with them the stupid returned that crossover had weeded out. Mind you, I loved their riffs, but that's it; the whole Pantera package just pandered to the lowest common denominator - jock itch.
