Simple Minds is still mostly known for the song DYFAM, but there are about 20 other songs they recorded, like this one, that are just as good if not better. As for U2 - I don't even own anything from them

Early Simple Minds (late 70s to early 80s) was a lot more electronic and euro trance. I love SM but their earlier stuff up to New Gold Dream in 83 is my fav. Ground-breaking new wave at the time. NGD sampled a billion times by techno bands in the 90s (Urasia;s 'Open Your mind'). I personally can't compare the 2 at all. Very different sounds. SM became a heavier sounding band in the mid 80s leaving the new wave sound behind somewhat. My least fav song is Dont You - which they never actually wrote

@MrRadiohead1997 : Yeah, I know its live. And alot of songs sang live is alot better from thealbum, but not this. I know other viewers share my opinion too.

He actually was told that due to time he had to cut his set by one song (using hand signals from the sidelines whilst he was on stage) but then it ended up that there was just enough time so when he was walking off, they hand signalled him to do the last song. He didn't forget!!!

I hate how he sang it. Very frustrating on a very important event such like this. He must have sang it in the original way. Thumbs down.
