Another great piece by Prokofiev.

i think that his music is strange but it is still good to listen to. His music also reflects a lot on his personality.

(Precipitato - Presto - Adagio drammatico)

Enjoy :)

I think that Prokofiev's music is normal and bad to listen to. His music also reflects a lot on Stalin's personality.WTF?!?

This piece is just perfect. It captures the playful, adventurous feeling of duel, the sense of danger, and the impending dread that things are about to get really bad for all the characters involved.

Such a marvelous and important display of the genius of Prokofiev - the great synthesis, the last time when the modern and foremost music was still in wide touch with its audience...

It's one of those passages that only becomes playable through the magic of slow practice. HOURS of it. Any 12-year-old who could play it well impresses me greatly. That said, I know a few. :)

i was 12 at the time, so i thought it was just me that found it hard. i was sitting next to a 17-year-old (i think), and she was playing it perfectly. but you may well be right, shes really good at the violin
