P86 is one of my all time favorites. I've seen them in concert 4 times. The first time i saw them was the concert they debuted Truthless Heroes in their set list.

Of course I have heard of POD. And I can't stand them anymore. I have heard 5 of their CDs (from Southtown to the new one Angels and Serants Dance). Satellite was good. The rest was garbage, with the exception of a few songs. SO MEH!

People have a great tendancy to think that all Christian bands are the gospel style. I beg to differ. Project 86 is a leading example. Look at Disciple, look at Norma Jean, As I Lay Dying, Zao, Demon Hunter. They're all christian bands that rarely, if ever, mention God in their lyrics. What they do with their music is show that it isn't all about drugs, sex, alchohol, and secular things like that.

thats true, i hate it when people think a cristian song has to sing about Jesus and how much God loves us, thats why i love Project 86 so much and P.O.D. too, they sing about other real things not just God and Jesus

Christian band, it's at least a conscious song. To be Christian doesn't mean the only lyrics are "praise the Lord." Listen to Skillet and you'll see why. The song, to me seems to be saying "What's been done in the past isn't going to change the path set before us today. It's us and Christ. We are the ones that will save the generation, not those who have lived their lives already."
