I went to an outdoor concert in Oakland Michigan in 1968 or 69 (those years are kind of blurry) My brother and I arrived around 11AM and the band was doing a sound check.They were the headliners and would not perform until dark. They played this tune for half an hour during the sound check. Trower was awesome. Didn't expect them to rock this hard.

When I talked to Chris Thomas the engineer on this record that they recorded in the "dungeon" at George Martin's studio A.I.R. he told me that the band sounded so good live that he recorded this song live to 2 track tape..Robin Trower kept asking for the guitar to be turned up.Chris said that it was a take and finished..Trower was pissed I'll betcha..It's perfect as is ..Chris Thomas..you can produce my record any day mate..
