Procol Harum perform the opener from the then recent 1991 album "The Prodigal Stranger".

Notice the added guitar solo, followed by a section to interact a bit with the crowd.

The "guitar riff" was actually a sampled guitar mixed with a peculiar synth sound, it was played by Matthew Fisher even while playing the organ counterpoint with the other hand.

Matthew Fisher is also, with Gary Brooker, joint author of the music (while Keith reid, as usual, provides the words)

@papajohnloki Comments are always appreciated, of course! Robin did some occasional vocals from time to time, he habitually sang "Crucifiction Lane" live. I never heard matthew sing live with Procol, the only exception was the Redhill concert/party, when he sang "In the autumn of my madness" while playing acustic guitar (Chris Copping replaced him on the organ). That famous performance of P.Progress is from the 70's, MaF had long left by then. They performed Boredom in the 90's but Brooker sang.

every time I make a comment it's the same thing-but I'll repeat myself- Great to hear this band. I always wondered if Matthew or Robin ever got solo vocals in live performances. You've posted Wishing Well which was the SOB duet from Robbie and Gary but I've the DVD with Gary singing Pilgrim's Progress so..I don't know(I know at Redhill Matt did Autumn but that wasn 't a normal concert). Thanks again.
