Rarely played after 1992, One More Time, from "The Prodigal Stranger" (1991), was used as title track for the first live album of the reformed Procol Harum. Here performed live in Boston on April 18, 1992. On the Hammond Organ Don Snow, filling in for Matthew Fisher for some time.

@Cerdes0000 Yes, he really did great things on that number.

It's Procol. It's great and I thought Snow had great chops when he let go as on Pandora's Box.

@JeckOverfull Very true! There is quite a bit of different Brooker recordings on a webb. I have a few favourite pieces of his and I really consider him a pilar of Procol Harum. Your ststement is very true about different ,elaborate playing outside of PH. He sounds like a classically educated pianist. In old days he was relaxed more, but we all get old and just like he does with lyrics , memory makes him be more cautious , when playing and often he forgets that tune is not finished.

@chriskar5 I always enjoy a lot to discuss with someone who really knows the music I love as well, of course! On the topic "different Brookers", have you noticed how his playing style changes when he's not playing with Procol Harum? I've noticed that for the first time while listening to the Concert for The Tsunami Survivors: there his playing is much more elaborate, actually I like that particular style a lot. Also, in the "old days" he played a lot more freely, today he seems to limit himself

@JeckOverfull I always enjoy discussions with you.I am astonished with your knowledge of Procol Harum and your expertise. To me Brooker is a mix of many styles and streams in music..Some are very orthodox like blues ,or gospel which fluences you can hear in most of his songs. Then , there is a progressive music Brooker, which I think was an influence of other musicians - to me Copping probably and Trower. They both liked "heavy" stuff. That's why I like "Home".To me it is a brealthrough! THANKS!!!

@chriskar5 I somehow expected a comment like that from you, of course! :D Well, if it isn't much played there's a reason: not enough interesting to be kept in the repertoire and not enough well known to be played from time to time anyway. Only five live versions in my library, all in '92. And yes, I agree about Don Snow: I really miss Fisher's organ here…Odd, given that Snow was often (but not always…never did much on Homburg, for example) quite throughout in preparing his parts.

Just a gig and a simple song that would not end.....that's a kind of Brooker's compositions that I do not care for.Just my personal opinion.I think that three chord tunes should be left for country music,LOL.As for Don Snow....nothing spectacular here.I heard his play Repent Walpurgis and it was great. Here just organ player.
