Love Symbol is to me the best, most consistent Prince album up to that point since Sign O The Times. Every tune is strong but 'Love 2 The 9's', 'The Morning Papers', 'Blue Light', 'Sweet Baby' and '7' are absolute gems. I love them.

This song became true for Mayte. The lyric " He left you for another fool ". Prince left Mayte for Manuela. "How can you sleep at night knowing , you and a fool sing in the same key '. Those words in the lyrics are so deep. I love Prince as a artist. But any star struck woman that got with Prince was a fool. Prince wanted women for their youth / beauty. When the spark wore off he cheated on them before moveing on to the next one. He wasn't even decent or respectful enough to break up with them first. He over lapped many relationships. Like a child getting into a box of chocolates. Take one bite out of a whole piece , chew it , spit it out , then grab the next piece and do that again and again until the box is empty , then go open another box. He used women up. I don't want back lash on how he wrote songs for them . He was a genius , he easily could write several songs in one day. He made them famous / 15 minutes of fame. Again he was a genius and he could easily make a very beautiful woman famous in a career. All she had to do was have a beautiful face. He had the power to do that. But he did not have what it took to stay attached and have real lasting love in a relationship. He was almost 58 when he died still slinging women on his arm that were literally old enough to be his own child. SAD situation. No wonder he died alone. They say it's lonely at the top. Kirk Johnson was the only one he really kept all them years. Could it be Kirk sold his soul to Prince ? Cause Kirk wanted everything Prince had ? Prince was a puppet master pulling all the strings. A controller. And he refused the word NO. Prince couldn't or wouldn't keep a woman . But Kirk was his best fool. Kirk was like Egore was to Dracula. Remember in the Dracula movie Egore use to always say to Dracula " Yes Master. ". Prince didn't have to marry or make personal commitment to Kirk. Prince had a hell of a man servant there.!!!!!! But no real love in his life. SAD.

I passed my AANP exam with this song gently playing in the background.I was soooo scared. I studied for 4 weeks straight for 6 to 8 hrs. I took my exam 6/24. I walked out crying with tears of joy when i passed. Alls i could hear is Prince saying, "Stand tall sweet baby"I love u Prince! Miss u sweet baby!
