Les will forevermore serve as an inspiration to me on bass, alongside such greats as Victor Wooten, Chris Squire, Tony Levin and Geddy Lee. I only recently became a fan of Primus (guess because they suck), but I've become quite fond of the transition Les has had over the past 40 years, from a teen that looks like a buddy of mine, to a full out icon, who I can best describe now as a cross between Frank Zappa and Serj Tankian.
