@anundatay kehr- Jason is out in Washington with his wife. I used to work for island def jam records, and was p55's biggest fan! He's currently working on some new stuff.. That man has talent, for sure!! He has a Facebook page and is really cool about accepting friends. So you should try hitting him up on there!

Does anyone know which particular Ozzfest this was? I was right up front for Primer55 at the show in Holmdel, NJ.. So now I'm trying to look for myself, but start thinking "duh, this could be in Cali for all you know!!" LoL

Yeah...No One was a good band. They opened up for SOAD and Slipknot on the Pledge of Allegiance tour that year. Actually Disturbed was supposed to headline the 2nd stage, but the crowds were to jammed, and they got put on the mainstage. Mudvayne were the headliners by default. I actually didn't pay much attention to Beautiful Creaters, not a big fan, but Pure Rubbish was oddly good. Them and Spinshank should have had better slots in my opinion. Only band that sucked was Union Underground.

I wasn't that impressed with Mudvayne, they just seem like a rip off of Slipknot if you ask me, and Nonpoint weren't that great, though they did get a great crowd response, and even though they were kind of the old "Geezers" on the tour lol and probably not the Coolest band on the tour, But I was mainly there to see Black Sabbath that year, all in all they fucked up on Ozzfest 2001 I'm NOT saying it was a bad show, but I had been to Ozzfest 3 times before that, and that was the weakest!

I loved Nu metal,Still do, and I liked Papa roachs set and even Linkin Park, they were both pretty good, and I do love Manson but I would have much rather Seen Korn or Tool or someone else Co-Headline, I remember seeing the band NO ONE at like 11 am they were so sick live! Oddly enough, Beautiful Creatures put on an EXCELLENT set, And got to see Taproot for the second time, the first time I saw them at Ozzfest 2000 I got up on the rail for their set, very cool!

Yeah Sabbath killed it. Nu Metal was at it's peak in 2001 so the lineup reflected it. Slipknot, Disturbed, LP, P-Roach, were the bands on the main stage I wanted to see. Taproot, Mudvanye, Nonpoint, Hatebreed, and OTEP were on the 2nd stage. Manson did have a cool set, but I'm not really into him like that. If you didn't like Nu Metal, then yes, Ozzfest probably sucked that year.

Yeah, Ozzfest was the best, I'm so happy I got to go as many times as I did back then, seeing bands like Fear Factory, Godsmack, Hed Pe, Slipknot, SOAD, R Zombie, and Black Sabbath all at the same show, Ozzfest was EVERYTHING and more a hard rock/Metal fan could ask for!

2001 was the weakest Ozzfest for me personally, too many bands like Papa roach and linkin park, Pantera in 2000 was the best! Manson's set at Ozzfest 2001and Ozzys set was what made that show for me!

mine was 2001. All the bands I was into at that time played on the main stage, plus I discovered Hatebreed and Nonpoint that year. RIP Ozzfest!

Shuvel, who performed on the 2nd stage that year, also had a song called Set It Off. Their's were better. But Primmer 55 were better rappers.

Respond to this video... That crowd was not worthy of Primer.
