This is one of their underrated classics! It's about growing up in a fundamentalist christian household if you look at the lyrics. The lyricists anger grows as he cannot truly express himself to his family. Bobby burns carefully chooses the words "crossing the lines again its so fundamental". He also says the words "counting all the lies" showing that he had to hide his true self from other people. It could mean something different, but that's just how I interpreted it.9 years ago
