In the song he says, "Is it just a dead memory / Stranded in the thirty third latitude degree / A few words of truth could never lie / Who will kill me, I'm a refugee alive" -- the 33rd parallel north is a circle of latitude that is 33 degrees north of the Earth's equatorial plane. It crosses Africa, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, North America and the Atlantic Ocean. In Iraq, the 33rd parallel defined the limit of the southern no-fly zone from 4 September 1996 to 30 August 2003. (Before this time it had been set at the 32nd parallel north.) This airspace was controlled by Operation Southern Watch. Presumably, the song is about a soldier fighting in Iraq.

i remember when i used to love this band then i moved on to more heavier metal with more substance to it. i will always have a place in my heart for 80's metal sound but im into the hardcore death metal/djent genres nowadays

For sure my favourite PF album! Such a good album! But im pretty sure they don't have bad albums. This is the second song i heard by them (first being riding the eagle) and i was hooked as soon as the chorus hit! Such a powerful song!
