So grateful for having my friend, Robert Mason, who introduced me to great music, such as Prick!

Just a little info: Lucky Pierre ..McMahons first band started 1978..Trent was collaborative then..Trent started in 1988..Prick (Riverhead)still continued till Animals release in 92' ...With that being said .. They are separate entities... that share like qualities.neither "ripped off" their style..if anything Prick preceeded NlN ..dpk~

This song is based on Nine Inch Nail's Closer in my opinion. The name, the scenery, it even sounds like it sampled the song at certain points.

Great album. Saw them twice in '95 opening for NIN and D.Bowie. They're good live.

I always felt like this video was after Trent and co. were packing up after filming the Closer video and Kevin sneaks in like "Quick guys lets make a quick music vid with all the props that are still here before they go!"

I think the outro of NIN - Closer is the intro of the Prick - Animal song.. listen to it

this is the worst song on that album. who the fuck knows why he wanted to release this as a first single. thats why it flopped. haha i remember when it debuted. we were all disappointed because we had been fans for about a year before this.

I remember Prick opening for NIN several years ago and fell in love. I think it's pretty good when an opening band sticks with you this long! I hope to hear more Prick someday. I have their second full album somewhere.

Thanks so much for posting this! I loved the song and video, but it's like the band's existence just disappeared, they don't even show up on iTunes.

Only album I know of was so great. Saw them open for Nine Inch Nails. Most opening bands suck balls, but Prick dug in deep (hehe). Seriously, they were super bad ass live and I wish they'd at least tried another album.
