Pretty Things - Raining in my Heart 1966

The Pretty Things are a rock and roll band from London. They pioneered a raw approach to rhythm and blues that influenced a number of key bands of the 1960s British invasion, particularly The Rolling Stones, and David Bowie whose first hero was Phil May.

The Beatles were never able to play the real rhythm and blues. The other groups like The Rolling Stones, The Pretty Things, The Animals & Manfred Mann even The Yardbirds know how to play it - but the Beatles (as very ecletic interprets) never knew it. And in fact they killed the US rock’n’roll - so I really do not admite them. Sometimes they were fine composers, but as the interpreters they were a pure shit. Dušan Hlísta, Žilina, Slovakia

NOT only do I hear the"the Rolling stones in there, but another song; S.F.Sorrow, is definately the origin of ,Bowie s ecletic career!
