Used to spend a lot of time at the Metro where this was shot. Met some amazing people there. Partied with members of Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden, W.A.S.P. Nazareth, Exodus, to name a few. Really miss those days.

Anyone got a spare delorean to lend me so I can get a one-way ticket to go back to Canada in the 80's and meet a younger Sebastian Bach, these guys, and all the other amazing glam bands!

the Canadian band owned the rights to the name, but the American band filed for the trademark, thus the name battle ensued..not sure if there was a financial payout of some kind or not, but the Canadian band soon after went under the name of the lead vocalist Tommy Floyd and the American band went with Pretty Boy Floyd..I prefer the Canadian band, but then, I'm Canadian!..hehe..

There were two bands named Pretty Boy Floyd that got album deals right about the same time...search engines may struggle to find the right one.

I never knew about this album, "Bullets and Lipstick." I think this video is very cool and I really like this song, "Welcome To The Show."

@Weskrash Hi, I'm trying to find the lyrics of this song, but they are not on the net, could you help me transcribe them? There's a lot I don't understand and I'm from Argentina!

Tommy Floyd, was no doubt an amazing singer.

MCRACKINS .

I can tell you are both wrong. Although Tommy liked Axl, his favorite singers were Ron Tabak from Prism (A popular Canadian rock band from the 70's and early 80's) and Bon Scott. I personally thought he sounded alot like Tabak.

@lester5192 I challenge you to post a vocal cover of any song you wish, and I'll answer you with my vocal cover of the same song, and we will see who has better ear.

@Matutt26 you don't have a good ear at all then.

@lester5192 I listened to all the Dangerous Toys albums. I'm a Hard Rock musician myself. Allmusic.com thinks the same "The fact that Jason McMaster sounds like Axl Rose only furthers this idea."

@Matutt26 you obviously never heard dangerous toys first album to compare voices. and steve summers ripped off vince neil and is proud of it when it comes to vocal style, ever wonder why they remade a crue song?. and nobody sounds like axl...sometimes layne stanley did.

MatuttRokker

@lester5192 He sounds nothing like McMaster. And McMaster sounds exactly like Axl Rose. The Riff is a typical hard rock reef. CRUE are the greatest ripoffs out there. Actually Steve Summers copiedTommy's voice besides trying to steal Aerial Styles songs.

Anyone know if this band's Bullets & Lipstik EP and Bullets & Lipstik LP were ever released on CD? If so, are either or both available for a reasonable price? Sorry, I'm not paying $100 for a CD. I don't care how good it is.

@TheGreatDuck the only difference is the vocal style really. they aren't bad, i would like them better if the singer didn't sound like jason mcmaster. they really aren't a pretty boy band either and pretty boy floyd was an american gangster, they should have called themselves gasoline addicts.

@lester5192 They're still fat better than the American band.
