I had no idea that the kinks had done this in 1964 or that Ray wrote it. This version is way freakin' better. She had teh most unique vocal style. I'm going to compare her to Ziggy Azalea today in that having a unique style that people like .

They all looked so young and cute in this vid. Chrissie with the Gretsch (Falcon?) and James with what appears to be a triangular shaped Travis Bean... and yes I'm sure Ray has received a fairly decent royalty for writing this one.
