How much does this kit cost, roughly? The link in the description doesn't work.

Premier is underrated , this kit sounds amazing!! they should have more modern drummers to keep it up

Only the Genista Maple toms come with the ISO rim mount while the Genista Birch has the tom brackets mounted onto the shell. Since this kit has a tom fitted with the ISO rim mount I think this is a Genista Maple kit...

You'll be surprised how many big names you will see on premiers artist list.. scott Phillips (alterbridge and creed) is first one I think of

My old genista in this exact colour, although not as sparkly, still have people asking about the kitt. It's far from mint, but the sound from those birch shells make it sound so high-end. Even with years old heads.

Hi All, I received my new Genista kit. I'm writing this update for those familiar with the original Genista drums; I wanted to make a few comments about the toms. The new Genistas have a nice, current-looking finish. They will surely look better on stage vs my green-stain 90s Genista kit. They sound good, but are only an approximation of the original Genista sound...regardless of the drum head combinations I tried. The original Genista toms are so good; I suspect b/c the 6mm undersize, the variety of Birch and the construction methods used in the UK at the time. The new Genista toms just don't have that same "crack, with tone" that the old ones do, esp when hit hard. That said, not even my Pearl Masters Birch toms, at twice the price, sound as good as the old Genistas (even though the Pearl's build tolerances are better). I'm thinking of ordering new (tight) lugs for my 90s kit, which should help it stay in tune better...

I just bought a new Genista kit...waiting for it to arrive. I currently gig w/ a 90s Genista kit...sounds fabulous, but doesn't stay in tune that well. I read the new Genistas have thicker hoops...hopefully this will be an improvement over the 90s kits regarding staying in tune. However, the new snares are 8-lug vs the 90s 10-lug. Why did they do this??? And why didn't they also use the original, larger-sized lungs on the kick?? Those were cool! It seems the new Genistas are a compromise in several ways vs the originals...a little disappointing but I'm still excited to get my new kit. Not getting rid of my original Genista kit anytime soon ;).

hey one question does the tom mount separate from the rod so that u can put the tom mount on a cymbal stand

Kick and snare sound nice, but the toms are dead. Which clear heads are on the toms? Sounds almost like Attack clears or something equally as thick/deadening. I recently had the chance to play a full live set on a new Genista series and the toms were very vibrant/resonant... so I know it's not the drums themselves. Seems like thicker heads here or poor tuning...

I thought only the maple drums came with ISO mounts.
