came out WAY before this version, and the other version you're referring to Empuls. actually, the bass, and trumpet are in the same exact pattern as Mikah's delivery..

actually the original recording was done with live band, drums, trumpets, and bass. i have on tape. it was never pressed. and it was just one verse...you can hear my boy Emerson playing the bass on Wants vs Needs on Haiku de'tat's 1st album

It was called "Life or Death" & the beat was REAL simple (just drums basically). I haven't been able to find it on YouTube yet...I had it on a "Mikah 9 Rare Releases CD mix" that my homebwoy made me a few years ago.
