I disagree. There are similarities, but that just music. Contemporary music. Listen to the classics and it's so similar that it molds into one. The tempo and the goal (rock sad vs melody sad) make such a break from 10cc's song that you must have a link internally that not too many other people have that ties them. So no, I think your feelings are biasing that statement. Happens though. Cheers!
