I saw Prairie Oyster back in the mid 1990s. They used to tour quite a bit in the U.S. and then nearly stopped after Blue Plate Special. The greatest hits package got no promotion in America. Fast forward to 2007, I moved to Canada and got to see Prairie Oyster at the casino twice. They came out afterwards and spent hours signing autographs and shaking hands. Very humble guys, not typical rock star country guys like you might expect. Russell DeCarle has his solo career now as well, check out his recent solo album and of course Oyster's comeback album One Kiss.
