From his first LP. Well worth a listen there are some great songs on there. This one conjures up Portobello road in the mid sixties, almost feel like I'm there. Read Moorcock's 'The Chinese Agent' to get another picture of the Ladbroke Grove area in sixties London.

I'd have never guessed (given the odd, psychedelic nature of much of Kim Fowley's other work), but it's apparently true. Fowley wrote the lyrics and Stevens wrote the melody.13 years ago
