I stopped in a St. Vincent de Paul charity shop today and found a number of old gems to add to my vinyl horde. Most of them were even recorded using the old RCA "Dynagroove" process. I even got a pristine copy of the American Graffit soundtrack on vinyl!
Although on of the cover photos in the video says "STEREO", this recording is from a MONO pressing.

Porter Wagner is always awesome to find on original pressings, and later reissues as well. It is cool how RCA Victor described how they used computers in the recording process in the 1960's. Not sure how applied to audio, but possibly the computers might have been used in controlling the record pressing machines on the record production line??Related Videos
