This must be what non metalheads hear when they listen to metal and say "its just noise". I listen to this and its just noise. As a drummer I wouldn't even have a clue on what to play if I heard their guitar parts....lol11 years ago

if you love portal, i think you'll like mitochondrion (new album very soon). as for the soundtrack to hell, mine would include thou and khanate, 'black angels' by george crumb, and diamanda galas' 'schrei x', which is what i imagine schizos hear in their heads...11 years ago

Thanks for the tip-off mikebott :) I just checked Lux Aeterna out, very creepy yet beautiful. But for me, on its own, I didn't find it 'scary'. If it was paired with certain imagery, I can definitely see how it would frighten. Portal is still the soundtrack to Hell! ;)11 years ago

listen to ligeti's choral works- especially 'lux aeterna'- and see if they don't outclass this. portal are intense and very skewed, but not really frightening.11 years ago
