Dude I remember back then when I was in HS/early college a rumour was going around that he had aids simply cause of how gaunt he looked from all the Heroin he was pumping into his arm. That's nothing shocking (pun intended) but what was funny as hell was he actually allowed the rumour and played into it a little even tho it was all BS. Jane's had just broken up and he had started Pornos For Pyros and, of course, being the little snooty elitist dumb shits we were back then we pretended PFP just wasn't as good as Jane's was (total BS - it was just different from Jane's and we didn't want Jane's to end of course)Fuck man it's sad really how retarded young people can be for no real reason. We were living in a golden age of music only rarely duplicated throughout the millennia and we pretended that we didn't fully appreciate it when in reality we knew had and we loved every minute of it. My friends and I were going to great concerts like this and Lollapalooza nearly constantly. There was like a 4-5 year period where we going to great concerts at big arenas and outdoor all day events at minimum once a month and on the thre or so off weekends we were going to see all the great fucking underground shows and huge warehouse raves, ingesting massive quantities of LSD, MDMA and mescaline and marijuana and rohibinol every single day! It's amazing I got straight A's, held down 2 jobs and got my ass up for college classes every day! God I miss those days so fcuking much. Of course, we never foresaw hat would happen to music in this decade and the last :/
