Taken from album "In Absentia" (Lava, 2002)

I don't know whose side I'm on

I don't think that I belong 'round here

If I left the stage would that be wrong?

I tried to find myself a better way

I got religion but I went astray

They took my money and I lost my faith

Rain keeps crawling down the glass

The good times never seem to last

Close your eyes and let the thought pass

I tried the capsule and I tried the smoke

I tried to aid escape like normal folk

But I never seemed to get the joke

These are my old clothes

This is a new low

This is my blood flow

This is my headstone

I spend my days with all my friends

They're the ones on who my life depends

I'm gonna miss them when the series ends

Rain keeps crawling down the glass

(Pull yourself together)

The good times never seem to last

(You know it's not so bad)

Close your eyes and let the thought pass

(Close your eyes and let it pass)

Fair enough on the coincidence. On everything being done, when I first heard some of Manring's work with the Zon, I can honestly say I'd not only never heard some of those sounds come out of a bass, I'd never heard them coming out of any instrument ;)

But I merely point that out as a coincidence. Even at times when I create songs, I realize their similarities between stuff I listen to. I think everything's been done so far heh

Yup. Songs like ".3" have clear Animals-isms, IIRC, the acoustic guitar in the tune "Dogs".

Good phrasing from Steve in the outro

Zep? More like Floyd's slide moments on Animals with Radiohead singing

5:10 drums are sick. 4/4 beat filled with 4/4 beat played in triolet tempo... Masterpiece.

Is it me, or the riff kind sounds a bit like Kashmir from Led Zeppelin. watch 2.24 to 2.47. Maybe i'm crazy, but i love it the way it sounds.
