I was there when it happened. It was at Doc's in Muncie. The gig was Losing September, then Otherwise, then Pop Evil. After Pop Evil finished my nephew walked over to them and started congratulating them. The rest of the band was cool but the lead singer just walked by and said what he said. I was standing right there.

I directed this video (thank you, everyone, for the kind words about the video - still my favorite one I've done to date). I know Leigh (the singer) very well... there's absolutely no way this ever happened... he'd never tell that to ANYONE on his worst day, let alone a fan or fellow musician. Just didn't happen.
