I know there are a million versions of this, from Gershon Kingsley who originated the song to Hot Butter who had the big hit with it, even Egyptian guitarist Omar Khorshid did a version of it. It dawned on me how this song has a bit of resemblance to "Oxygene IV". I guess that makes sense since Jarre did record a version of "Popcorn".

Le Pater aussi a droit à sa version! C'est dans la lignée de ce qu'il faisait à l'époque de "Deserted palace" avec ses premiers synthés (VCS 3, Synthi AKS, Farfisa organ et je ne sais quelle boîte à rythmes... un MOOG aussi...? vu le son...). Très bonne version!!!

Why does it say Jean Michel Jarre in the title when it is clear from the video that the version is made by "Pop Corn Orchestra"?  I have heard so many different versions of "Pop Corn", or "Popcorn" as the song originally was named by the ORIGINAL AUTHOR Gershon Kingsley -- and NONE OF THEM has ever actually been even close to be in JMJ's hands.  In fact, I think the truth is that Jean Michel Jarre NEVER EVER made a cover version of this song.
