You know I'v been thinking about this song and the music group thereof, and the views around it.. And I've come to the conclusion that I'm glad there are only 15,994 views... To me it shows that this type of music only may apply to certain groups.. I personally thoroughly enjoy this song tremendously. It brings a very valuable beauty to their genre, and to my generation.. being 22. I first heard this group when I was 15 and I was stuck on them, but unfortunately I could not find any other media for this band. However, this song is so fuckin beautiful.. I love it.. that's all I can say. :)

That riff was used in a scene in "Daria." It's the only part of the song they used. It caused a week-obsession in which I HAD to find this song. I finally did, and now Pond's become one of my favorite power-pop trios of all time.

As others have said, it's just a shame this band got overlooked during the big grunge explosion of the time. They got labeled as another grunge band, but this isn't grunge, in my book. They've got far more in common with the indie rock of Sonic Youth and Pixies than they do with Nirvana or Pearl Jam. They were grossly underrated and way ahead of their time. Rock Collection is nothing short of a brilliant, quirky and infectious pop album.
