What I took away from this is that every person you meet in your life has an impact on you. In the context of the video the "impact" left behind is symbolized in the paint left on the old woman after each scene. The important people in your life (in this video the four main dancers) have a large impact. Notice how after each main dancer the paint left behind is thick, it runs over the woman's skin by its own weight. At the end of the video the multitude of dancers represent the lesser impacts on you that ordinary people leave behind (think of someone holding a door open for you, or smiling at you). Each dancer radiates their own energy (represented by each dancer's primary color) and their impact on the woman is symbolized by their smearing their own paint all over the woman. In real life, each individual is a combination of their own thoughts and beliefs, as well as the summation of the thoughts and beliefs of the people they surround themselves with. Like when you have a great conversation with your best friend, he or she leaves behind a piece of themselves with you. And when a stranger holds a door for you, they also leave behind an impact that might leave you smiling the rest of the day. Great song and an awesome video to boot.
