WOAH!!! In the face transitioning, did anyone else see Max Bemis from Say Anything!?!?!?!?! Both of these bands are amazing btw. Me and my mom love both bands and are true punk rockers!!! Gotta love NOFX, Rancid, Screeching Weasel, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Sex Pistols, The Suicide Machines, etc.

I disagree. I thought within the first 10 seconds that this sounds like Rise Against. That's not a bad thing, IMO....

I don't see it. If you printed the lyrics to this song it reads like poetry. Clever wordplay, unique phrasing, a distinct voice, and a cohesion from first word to last. Tim does write well, but this is much more sophisticated. Take a look at most Rise Against songs. Most of them are full of cliches and typical rock lyric style (disjointed parts, lines that sound cool when sung angrily but are essentially meaningless, boiler plate subject matter, etc.)
