This song serves two purposes. The first, being what Vi and company are calling for, a coming out of hiding for those of us who have a stake in righting the course that our various forms of governance and manipulation have taken us down. And who is exempt, really? Be not afraid!Secondly, I'm issuing a challenge to those of us on social media who often rather cowardly hide behind bogus names and photos, taking cheap shots at others who are willing to allow themselves the vulnerability that the beginnings of true friendships demand. Granted: I've had zero opportunities for such relations to occur. And maybe that indeed speaks to the limits of the medium. On the other hand, however, like many others, I did meet a woman on FB; but also like many others, FB played an unfortunate role in the demise of my marriage, albeit indirectly. Ironically, my ex thought I MUST be hiding stuff from her BECAUSE I was too willing to allow her complete access to everything and anything I did via our computer!Yet still here I be.

Got my first CRASS LP from a buddy at 11 years old. The feeding of the 5000. Should have seen the horror on my mothers face when she finally figured out what steve ignorant was actually Saying. Poison girls followed shortly after on my collection. I still get goosebumps at 45 years old listening to this. I can feel the angst revisited. It's probably equivalent to getting a boner when yer 80

It's sad think that some of the most brilliant minds of those days - brilliant stars - were unable to speak to a wider audience. That was their tragedy and our greater loss.
