tool is on an entirely different level than chevelle, I mean musically speaking the bands are not even close, just on the drums alone that much is obvious. that being said, chevelle is talented and have managed to put together some very good albums, but to compare the two shows a complete lack of musical knowledge and understanding, other than the vocals they aren't very alike

While everyone's comparing the two I'd like to offer my interpretation of Tool. You know how Nine Inch Nails has those few disposable songs on every album to pad out the great ones? That's Tool's discography.

Exactly what I was thinking. Chevelle is just so underrated. My favorite band

Tool is amazing, I personally prefer Chevelle, but both bands are original and write amazing songs unique in their own sense.

Kill me everyone, but this song reminds me of being in the 6th grade in 1999 and my girlfriend at that time, Ashley... Wherever she is these days, now in her mid to late 20's like me.. Ahh those days before social media took over the culture of the youth...

Agreed. I am a fan of both groups and the voice quality between Chevelle's lead singer and Maynard Keenan is different and, I think, Chavelle is a bit less provocative then Tool. My opinion though
