If terrorism isn't religion then Islamic extremists are not Muslims. Why do extremists become Muslims when it suits Muslims or the extremists die by non Muslim hands? A warped sense of religion is STILL religion.

This spoke to me on many levels. I'm not a Muslim, I'm Pagan, so maybe its not exactly the same thing but... I do get people railroading your religion and customs cause they don't get it. I get being lumped into a group you don't belong to. Not Terrorist, but Satanist and Occultist. For these reasons I often find myself defending guys like this. Before the Native Americans the "barbarian" groups were decimated by Constantinople and they never came back, now people don't remember white wasn't always synonymous with Christian. I don't know if Muslims are the new slaves, but I do think a few terrorists have made it all to easy to allow racism without any form of repercussion and its wrong. This was a very enlightening poem, and I commend the guy for writing it. And thanks for serving the country.
