Gram and Richie ... Either version is a WINNER! God rest Gram's soul. He left to soon. Richie's music lives on. Don't miss out on his latest effort Hand In Hand ... He still has it!

I love Gram Parsons and Poco, and they both did this song. I prefer this version. A richer sound and some minor word changes.

Graham's version has way more emotion. This cut sounds like it collided with an ice cream truck. Terrible arrangement.

When I saw Poco (the Furay, Schmidt era) their on-stage performance was flawless, both vocally and instrumentally. One of the best!!

amazing to me that 2 people you and little raggie can hear the exact same recording of a song and have such opposite opinions... thats what makes the world go round I guess.... individuals and the fun of how different yet the same we all really are...I happen to love this version...

Indeed. This is a pretty recording of a pretty song, but "Brass Buttons" was exactly that kind of song that could only be done justice by Gram himself. Poco kinda just disembowels it.

Good cover of a great Gram Parsons' song.

It doesn't matter. This is a good version but nothing compares to the Gram original. The Gram original has real pain & you can never replace that with all the technique in the world.

Brit pub band??? Not hardly, sir!!! Pub band?? You don't have a clue what you speak of do you, Brinsley?! Try researching things you are ignorant of before posting this whatever you call it! Brit my ass!!! Pub band...my ass! Bass player was Tim Schmidt=THE EAGLES for 20 years?! Paul Cotton, Randy Young....I saw POCO in concert 5 times, at least!

Brinsley Shwartz. Excellent Brit pub-rock band !! Not sure what's the Gram Parsons connection though.
