Don't think Randy & Tim were exactly stolen from Poco. Randy was fired by Richie & Messina. Eventually Tim went to the Eagles when Randy left, but that was 1977....Poco should have had the big fame & the big money, but I think they didn't have a good manager,,,,at least not as good as Irving Asoff....

Glenn Frey has admitted a few times that he studied Poco and watched them when he could. They all hung out together back in the day.

I'm right there with you brother. Just got done listening to Anyway, Bye Bye for the tenth time in two days. What other group was capable of producing that song? Modern country music is just catching up to songs like this. Stephen Stills once said the Eagles were trying to be CSN. I say they were trying to be Poco. Just look at who their bassists were.

why is because they induct who is fashionable at the time for whatever random reasons is momentary. much like the academy awards it is highly political like everything else now in our modern world.. we created it...but can t un create its our monster so we must live in our own little happy worlds and find what sparks each of us and try and join together from time to time to multiply our joys...

This has always been one of my favorite Poco songs to crank up, and I especially love all Poco from 1969 to 1977, and Legend from the 1978 album! Happy Holidays, BobbyK Cantamos is one of the best Poco albums, all around, though!!!! (But I love them all from 69 to 77!!!

This might be my favourite "country rock" track of all time. Great song and dynamite guitar playing by Paul Cotton. What a great band they were.

Why Poco is not inducted into the RRHOF is beyond me. Their influence in the music scene is incredible and prolific. Where they came from and where the individual members went off to and how the band withstood such adversity is a testament to what a real band is.

Poco should have achieved the status that The Eagles, and other country-rock groups achieved, because their music and vocals were just as good! Yes, the critics were nice, but the people spinning albums at radio stations seemed to miss most of Poco's great music, for the most part! That's my humble opinion! BobbyK
